Marketing superman to pastors… Slick!

Wow, this is something I haven’t thought of before.

This CNN article talks about Warner Bros. studios aggressively marketing “Man of Steel” to Christian pastors, with the idea that Superman in the movie parallels Christ in the bible. The pastors are then mentioning and incorporating the movie into their sermons, effectively promoting the film to their audiences.

An interesting idea. And it makes sense: they are providing an informational service to affinity groups.
